What should I do if my garage door stops working suddenly?
Stop using it. If you heard a loud bang, a spring has almost certainly broken and the door is now its full dead weight. Running the opener against it can turn one repair into two. Don't pull the emergency release on a door under load. Park outside, leave it where it is, and call us.
Do you offer emergency service at night and on weekends?
Yes. Call the same number 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Broken springs, snapped cables, doors off track and doors that won't close are dispatched at night and on weekends.
How much does a garage door repair cost?
It depends on the part and the door. We diagnose on site and give you a written price before any work starts, so you know the exact cost up front. Estimates on new doors and openers are free.
How long does an installation take?
A standard residential door replacement takes about half a day, including hauling away the old door. Spring and cable repairs take one to two hours, and opener replacement usually two to three.
Can I replace one panel instead of the whole door?
Often, yes. A single dented or cracked section can be swapped if the model is still made and the rest of the door is sound. If the door is old or discontinued, replacement is usually the better value. We'll tell you which and why.
How often should my garage door be serviced?
Once a year for a typical home door, and twice a year for a commercial door in constant use. A tune-up costs a fraction of the spring failure it can prevent.
